встретила в этом сериале замечательную песню - Michael Penn "Walter Reed".

enWikipedia дает нам Рида M.D., Рида-актера и Рида-основателя театра (но он уже Walter Reade).

в первой статье есть абзац:

A song, "Walter Reed", was penned by Michael Penn and tells of a soldier's desire to be taken to him. [to Walter Reed hospital].

но в статье о Grauman's_Chinese, который тоже упоминается в песне, читаем:

The song "Walter Reed" from the album Mr. Hollywood Jr., 1947 by Michael Penn contains the lyrics, "I've had my fill of palm trees and lighting up Grauman's Chinese. оказывается, в конце второго сезона "Buffy" (s2e20) он играет одного из команды по плаванью школы Саннидейла. они ещё потом в монстрорыб превращаются. такая же улыбочка на бок, только молодой совсем.

и по поводу "Prison Break". уже все уши прожужжали новой ужасноумной героиней, исчезновением Сары и возможного возращения агента Махони. но тут ещё Шеринг наобещал: "В третьем сезоне будет отчетливо проскальзывать тема искупления вины. Сезон будет более жестоким, брутальным, грубым. По сравнению с ним первые два сезона покажутся культурными и неброскими". лишь бы не испортили.

дошла до одного из своих любимых эпизодов в Баффи:

- Well, does looking at guns make you want to have sex?
- I'm 17. Looking at linoleum makes me want to have sex.

сериал "Supernatural" (полчаса первой серии, пока ничего интересного).
диалог парня (П) и помощника шерифа (ПШ):

ПШ: - Ненастоящие судебные исполнители, ненастоящие кредитные карточки... У вас есть что-нибудь настоящее?

П: - Да, сиськи.

почему-то хорошие мальчики не вызывают восхищения, а настораживают и даже разочаровывают. как на экране, так и в жизни. почему-то антигерои Лекс Лутор (Smallville) и Логан Экклз (Veronica Mars) вызывают больше симпатии, чем положительные Кларк Кент и Дункан Кейн. и вообще с недавних пор мой герой - доктор Хаус (House M.D.), "a bored certified diagnostician with a double specialty in infectious disease and nephrology, also the only doctor currently employed at this clinic who is forced to be here against his will".

посмотрела вторые Дневники Бриджит Джонс. что интересно, главная героиня мне даже не симпатична, не то что нравится. но вот что-то есть, наверное. позабавили два эпизода: когда Бриджит ловила глюки в Таиланде после галлюциногенных грибочков и погоня Марка за Дэниэлом (ее парня еще из предыдущего фильма и того самоуверенного репортера). смеялась.
(их имён я, естессно, не запомнила, пришлось пересматривать и вслушиваться %))

31 декабря. подведение итогов года.
тюремный срок - один.
лесбийский поцелуй - один. но без языка!
количество сброшеных килограммов - один.
количество потерянных и вновь приобретенных после крупного дипломатического скандала парней - один.
предложение вступить в брак - одно.
блестящий год по всем показателям.
